George Spencer Chairman George has a senior corporate background in the manufacturing and financial services sectors, and now works as a management consultant. He is a hospital manager for South West George's and NHS Mental Health Trust and has been a Convenor for the Trust. He is a trustee for Age Concern (Southwark). |

| CHT staff come from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures. Currently the staff team, which numbers forty five, includes people from Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Poland, China, Algeria, Tunisia, Uruguay and Brazil, as well as people from the UK. Project Managers and Deputy Managers have normally reached Masters degree level in psychology and/or psychotherapy. Therapists usually have a first degree in psychology and at least one year's clinical experience, working with the severely mentally ill. Some have trained as psychiatric nurses, others have post graduate qualifications in group psychotherapy, individual analytic psychotherapy, art therapy or drama therapy. |

John Gale CEO John is a psychotherapist and is a manager under the Mental Health Act at two private psychiatric hospitals run by Cygnet Healthcare. John is a member of the Association of Chief Executives of Voluntary Organisations (ACEVO), a board member of the Association of Therapeutic Communities and of the International Society for the Psychological Treatment of the Schizophrenias and other Psychoses UK, a professional associate member of the Clinical Theology Association (CTA), a member of the ATC task force, an advisor to the Community of Communities programme at the Royal College of Psychiatrists Research Unit (CRU) and an associate of Source Chretienne at the University of Lyon, which specializes in the publication of texts from late antiquity. John was a member of the editorial board of the international journal Therapeutic Communities for six years, first as development editor and more recently as deputy editor. He remains a member of the journal’s international advisory panel. John has degrees in theology and philosophy, and has published a number of academic papers on psychotherapy and history. He regularly gives papers at conferences in the UK and abroad. John is currently editing an internationally authored volume for Routledge on therapeutic communities for psychosis. |

Inma Vidana COO Inma is a member of the Royal Society of Statistics and the Charity Finance Directors Group (CFDG). She is a trustee of Richmond Mind, a member of the executive committee of the Association of Therapeutic Communities (ATC) and an associate committee member of the International Society for the Psychological Treatment of the Schizophrenias and other Psychoses (ISPS). Inma joined the Senior Management Team at CHT as Finance Director in 1997. Her track record includes restructuring the financial systems within Community Housing & Therapy introducing controls on customer debt and project expenditure and overseeing the introduction of a system of differential spot producing changes. Inma graduated in Mathematics from the University of Malaga, Spain, and took a post graduate diploma in Pedagogy at the Institute of Education. She also completed a Masters in Statistics at the University of London, has studied accounting at the University of Westminster and is currently studying for a PhD in Financial Statistics at Imperial College. |

Beatriz Sanchez Clinical Director Beatriz was appointed Clinical Director in 2004. She has been working for CHT for 6 years and also practices as an honorary psychoanalytic psychotherapist for the West London Healthcare NHS Trust and practices privately. Beatriz has an MA in individual psychoanalytic psychotherapy from the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust and has a degree in psychology from the University of Malaga. In addition she has a number of certificates in psychotherapy and clinical psychology. Beatriz previously lectured and ran seminars for a 3 year diploma in group psychotherapy for TC practitioners, run by CHT and accredited by Middlesex University. She is also an accredited practice teacher for Brunel University’s MA in social work. Beatriz has given and published papers at conferences on group psychotherapy. |
