Donations and support

CHT thanks most warmly those who have given donations, either grants or in gifts in kind. Over the last few years grants and gifts have been gratefully received from a number of companies and charitable trusts, including The Army Benevolent Fund, The Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, The Royal British Legion, Seafarers UK, Vernon N Ely Charitable Settlement, The Coutts Charitable Trust , Queen Mary's Roehampton Trust, The Misses Barrie Charitable Trust, The Childwick Trust, The Charlotte Bonham-Carter Charitable Trust, The Macrobert Trust, Holy Trinity Church Upper Tooting, The Hospital Saturday Fund, The Albert Hunt Trust, The Souter Charitable Trust, Doughty Hanson & Co.

A grant was also received as part of the 'Activating Places of Change Grants Scheme'  from the Department of Communities and Local Government (CLG) for a social enterprise to be set up in which clients can learn to grow organic vegetables and sell them in local farmers' markets. This has been extremely successful.
