Continuing professional development

On-going seminars in the theory and practice of therapeutic community working and the CHT approach in management are provided for senior staff. CHT encourages its senior staff to follow external courses to further their professional development. Currently senior staff are studying on post graduate courses at the Tavistock Clinic, the Institute of Group Analysis, Kings College London and Guys Hospital, the Centre for Freudian Analysis and Research, The Centre for Psychoanalytic Studies at Essex University, Regent’s College and Imperial College. The majority of staff are also in their own training psychotherapy.
