Ellen joined CHT in 2021 as a Therapeutic Practitioner before taking on her current role as Team Leader. In this position, she supervises and supports the team in the daily operations of our four Therapeutic Recovery Communities in Southall, Richmond, and Surbiton.

Ellen studied Childhood and Youth Studies with Psychology at the University of Portsmouth and has recently completed her Level 7 Diploma in Relational Practice in Mental Health. Before joining CHT, she worked in a care home where she supported young women with profound physical and learning disabilities.

What does Ellen enjoy most about her role? She is passionate about CHT's work and values her involvement in staff and resident journeys. She enjoys using her experience to support others in their professional and personal development. She also loves working across different services while maintaining her presence among the residents and continuing to nurture the relationships she has built with them.
