
Lynsey Rowe (She/Her)

Lynsey has over 25 years’ experience working in funding and development in the not-for-profit sector including at Arts Council England, Amnesty International and the World Monuments Fund.  She is currently part of Arts Council England’s Capital Investment team where she is responsible for supporting the development and delivery of multi-million pound arts and cultural building projects across England.  As such, she has particular expertise and understanding of arts/cultural organisations, public procurement and property law and also charitable philanthropy, fundraising, risk management, governance, finance and operations.

Lynsey has always been enthusiastic about civil society and is keen to play an active role in her community.  She has previously been a panel member of the Crystal Palace Parks Community Projects Fund, a school governor for a small multi-academy trust and a trustee of a volunteer-run, open-air swimming pool.

A few years ago, Lynsey moved from SE London to rural Devon and now loves exploring Dartmoor and the SW coast by foot (often accompanied by her trusty hound, Tinker) or on her bike.  She is also an enthusiastic runner, singer, linguist and cultural aficionado.  Lynsey has personal experience of mental ill health and recovery and is delighted to use her skills and experience to effect change in the mental health sector as part of the CHT board.
