Nya joined the CHT team in 2024 as the service lead and keyworker at George Dooley House. She has a background in health and social care and studied criminology with forensic psychology at Kingston University.

What does Nya love most about her role? She enjoys the variety in her day-to-day activities. One moment, she might be facilitating a group discussion, and the next, she's supporting someone one-on-one through a challenging moment or even engaging in simple activities like cooking together. Nya finds this work meaningful and appreciates that no two days are ever quite the same.

Outside of work, Nya has a passion for baking. She loves the creativity and care that goes into it; it is a small but meaningful way to connect with others. Whether baking with someone or offering a homemade treat, she finds it opens the door to connection.
