Ryan joined CHT in 2022 and leads the service delivery of four Therapeutic Recovery Communities, ensuring that high-quality standards, informed by our clinical model, are integrated across the services. Ryan oversees referrals and is CHT's organisational lead on values-based recruitment and Enabling Environments.

Before working with CHT, Ryan worked in a range of health and social care settings, primarily working in services for people struggling with their mental health and for those affected by homelessness. Most recently, he was the Head of Programmes for the Choir With No Name, a charity that operates community choirs for people affected by homelessness. Through this role, Ryan developed a strong passion for co-production and is dedicated to shaping and developing services in collaboration with people who access them.

Outside of work, Ryan is a huge music fan and enjoys seeing new artists live whenever he can. He also enjoys playing the guitar, singing, and writing music. Ryan is also a keen runner and swimmer who appreciates the camaraderie found in long-distance running and triathlon events.

What does Ryan love most about his role? The opportunity to see change and development within our communities over time. He finds it inspiring to see his team and residents grow in confidence, take on new responsibilities, and develop new ideas, supporting others on their own journeys.
