One to one support
Alongside our groups and activities, we also offer one-to-one support and wrap-around care for all of our residents.
Psychotherapy
Regular on-site one-to-one psychotherapy with our community psychotherapist is a key part of our therapeutic approach.
It offers a confidential space for residents to explore their experiences, build trust, and work through trauma at their own pace. For those who have faced broken relationships and exclusion from other services, this therapy delivers consistent, personalised support.
At CHT, we believe that everyone deserves support that fits their needs, and we make sure all residents have access to regular psychotherapy, including those with substance use issues who are often excluded elsewhere because ongoing use is seen as a barrier to psychotherapeutic treatment.
Keywork
Every resident has a keyworker, also known as a Therapeutic Practitioner. Keyworkers are there to support residents throughout their recovery, offering steady encouragement and help as they face challenges.
Therapeutic Practitioners greet new residents and make sure they feel heard and valued from day one. They will work with residents on their Recovery Plans, and will stay involved throughout each person’s time in the community, helping build positive relationships, support healthy boundaries, and encourage a sense of safety.
